Effective Friday, June 26th at 12AM PST, the state of Nevada will require face masks to be worn in public areas.

March 26, 2020 Update:

The health and safety of our customers is our top priority. Out of an abundance of caution, we are temporarily closing our convenience stores between the hours of 12AM and 4AM daily to allow ample time to restock and to perform enhanced sanitation measures. During this time, fuel purchases will be limited to credit card only.

- Terrible's Road House in Jean will remain open 24 hours.

- Our stores in Searchlight, NV will be temporarily closed from 8PM to 8AM daily.

March 17, 2020: As the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic continues to intensify across the country, Las Vegas has not proven to be immune to cancellations and closures of casinos, events, schools, etc.  We are diligently reviewing these aforementioned closures, along with all recommendations and updates from the Center of Disease Control (CDC Website), state and city officials.  However, Terrible’s is determined to ensure our locations remain open, clean, safe and ready to serve you when needed.

At Terrible’s, we are exploring all opportunities to further ensure our customer and team member safety with the utmost urgency.  With that being said, we would like to announce the following changes to our business until further notice.

Updated Business Changes: Effective Immediately

- In compliance with the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD), Terrible’s has paused our refillable cup program for both coffee and cold fountain drinks in an effort to control the spread of COVID-19 until further notice.

- In order to maximize the safety of our customers and team members, we will also be transitioning all of our Full Service Car Wash locations over to Exterior Washes only. Again, this alteration to the business is simply to ensure we are minimizing interaction between our team members and the inside of customer vehicles, therefore maximizing the opportunity to ensure the safety of all.

- Full Serve Car Wash employees are being re-deployed to our C-Store/Gas Station locations with the sole purpose of continuous cleaning of our Fuel Pumps and other customer outdoor equipment frequently used by our customers.

March 14, 2020: As a family owned and operated business for over 60 years, Terrible Herbst’s mission has always been to serve the community and provide a safe and clean environment for our employees and customers every day.  This mission has never been more significant than now, due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.

Our goal is to make sure that you, the community we serve, continue to feel confident in knowing that we are taking this Coronavirus concern very seriously. On top of our current strict internal cleanliness guidelines, we are increasing these efforts to a more rigorous routine across all areas of our business for the safety of our amazing Team Members and customers.  We are monitoring and internally implementing cleanliness routines and recommendations by the Center of Disease Control (CDC Website) and we will continue to do so on a daily basis.

We are diligently sourcing high-demand products to ensure that you are finding the items you need while visiting our stores.  Products such as cleaning supplies, medicine, pantry items, and packaged beverage and food just to name a few.  We realize that altering your shopping routines to find the products you need is challenging and we will remain steadfast in our approach to source these items for you, along with listening to your feedback and finding new products you would like that we currently do not offer.

In closing, Terrible Herbst has been here for you since 1959 and we are here for you now.  The core purpose of the company’s commitment has always been to our community and to our team members.  As this situation continues to evolve, Terrible’s will evolve with it.  We will review the situation daily and make any appropriate adjustments to better serve you through this unprecedented time.
